How can we have peace in these troubling times? Do you sometimes struggle with anxiety and fear even though you know God? Have you wondered why other believers seem to find peace but you haven't yet? In John 16:33 Jesus Said, "I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, But take heart! I have overcome the world." 

God's will for all of His children is to live in peace and security - even in the midst of difficulty, pain and adversity. Come join women of all ages at Lake Avenue for a half day retreat where we will meditate together on what God has told us about His peace and practical ways to pursue it. We'll hear women speakers from our own congregation and share stories and worship as we dig deep into the amazing gift of peace that God has granted us.
